Infuluenced heavily by John Lennon at a young age, forms his own band to pursue a neurotic, radical sound. After a successful career in the underground music scene, Ito begins to anguish at the conflict between his interest in Asian ethnic music and the aggressive beat of the West. Upon leaving his band, he begins to pursue his roots in world music and in the traditional Japanese art forms. He searches for the unique sound only found in the Japanese culture, and at the same time unites this with contemporary dance music.
